The purpose of your stay at the Center is:
- To protect you and your children from further harm caused by violence
- To enable you to build a life free from violence in close relationships
The support you receive will be personalized and based on your specific situation and your wishes. For example, the support may include crisis counseling, care, companionship, and various activities during your stay.
You will be offered psychological counseling during your stay, and if you have accompanying children, they will also be offered psychological counseling.
After your admission to the Center, your local municipality will initiate coordinated support and guidance as soon as possible.
Your municipality will prepare an action plan in accordance with Section 141 of the Social Services Act, which outlines the support and guidance you will receive.
