It is estimated that each year, 38,000 women in Denmark are subjected to physical violence by someone close to them.
Approximately 70,000 women are exposed to psychological violence annually.
Of these, 3.000 women sought shelter at a crisis center in 2023. 2.600 children accompanied their mothers.
Many of these children have witnessed violence within their families
